And it doesn't get picky about what it casts like some wands can - if you get walnut and it likes you it'll do whatever as long as you know what you're doing. And unicorn tail hair bonds to the first user - other wands if you win them or even sometimes inherit them they're pretty friendly but a unicorn hair one won't ever cooperate quite as well with a second owner. And unicorn hair is the hardest of the three typical cores to turn to Dark magic. Not that it can't be done. This is all pretty subtle effects anyway, a good witch or wizard with a wand that likes them can do most anything if they try."
